Our History
Abneyville is the husband & wife team of John & Malia Gattás. We met our senior year in High School and were drawn to each other’s artistic abilities before we were aware of the passion that would eventually lead to a marriage. We schooled for Commercial Arts & Communication at San Antonio College in San Antonio, TX, where we were each awarded talent-based scholarships. After a few years of working in the advertising & design industry for different firms, we realized that it was the freelance-based projects we worked on together that yielded the best results. Hence, in 2001, we formed Abneyville.
Fast forward to today– we’re happy to say that abneyville is stronger than ever, supplying innovative and fresh designs to all who hire us. Our design and illustration work has been recognized through the local “Addy” awards program. The longevity of our client-relationships is exceptional… In many cases, thriving for ten years (and counting).
